Aims & Objectives
The multidimensional changes in the business scenario attracted greater number of students to opt for commerce and management field. Our aim is to provide quality education to children that empower them to have a sound career, competent to future business world and to inculcate cultured personality through knowledge of commerce, literature and arts. We are striving to develop Ahmedabad Arts and Commerce College into a dynamic campus that lays foundation to a strong knowledge base along with healthy socio-cultural values that will enable the students to become good citizens with a commendable global outlook. It strives to make education as a powerful medium and a tool to promote the social and economic development of students of backward and disadvantaged community.
To achieve the above aim it is necessary to develop the competitive spirit and to inculcate entrepreneurial traits for self-employment and profession among students. The objective of the college is to impart Three-year Under Graduate Programme in two streams (Arts and Commerce) to the students admitted through proper and parallel teaching and thus prepare them as really human resources with knowledge and skill so that they can keep pace with the modern society and enter the vast arena of higher education – the post-graduation course in the university as well. The class-room education with practical knowledge on the subjects are in perfect consonance with the requirements of the larger life. The UG courses and curricula, designed by the university and modularized by the faculty members of the college help much to inculcate the values of life, to inspire a creative urge among the students and inevitably the emergence of a knowledge-based society. Our foremost objective is to constantly try to encourage all round personality development of the students.
